The Girl She Was

She's been hurt a hundred times.
She's been giving chances a countless times.
She's been understanding in all her life.
She's been smiling in ageless time.
She's been bringing out her best.
She's been said to be a good doer.

But have they wonder...

If she's doing fine?
If she's alright?
If she's fine with it?
If she's tired?
If she can do it?
If she can bear with it?

And says...

Don't worry, I'll be here when you're mourning.
You don't have to, enough is enough.
Just keep doing it but don't do things beyond your capacity.
Please don't smile when you're hurt.
You don't have to prove the world, you-yourself is already a proof.
And you'll always be good to me.

And I wonder...

Should she take the pain?
Could she take?
If she can take it?
If she can bear with it?
If she will be going to be fine?
If  she will be going to pass it?

If she will be fine...

I want to see it with my eyes.
I want to scream and shout it to the world,
And tell them how strong had she become,
That she actually did it.
