The Island

It was questioned long before that how could an island be crowded when in fact there was less of a man. Particularly that who carried thousand of cells that would be sufficient to produce another work of art; how an island could disallow a single presence of an entity that might be a possible reason of a continuum. And how could they think of prohibiting man from crossing nor living on that said island? It was the question yet guesses were a mere fact of answers; moreover several number of foolish men had attempted to live on that island. However, the answers were always crashed skulls ornamented on the shore of the ocean, as a sign that everybody was welcomed.

The several number of less fool had answers: it was an island that men were not allowed since mostly men were killed. Of course, men had carried hormones that always led them to the brink of their lives.
And some had guessed, it was an island that monsters were dwelling.
Nevertheless, neither of that one or the other could be factual.

Another day had come and a baby was born to be one of the imbecile men that would live his life to the fullest! He was nurtured though he had some qualities that came out from him naturally. He had some instincts that a man had never possessed. He had grown to be gayly, laughable, humurous and charming, all of these qualities situated in a man's body. He was named Adam (a name that was known as the first man who had loved and had and been betrayed.) Every woman loved to be near to him because he had sense of humor and responsibility: He always made people laugh by his silly acts like pantomimes. He had never failed to make a woman laughed with this heroic act of flattering women through expressing an information through body movements and facial expressions. Furthermore, he had been responsible to himself and to others. Adam always felt that he had responsibility to everybody. It was an act of doing something without someone asking for it.

Those were the qualities that the women loved about Adam.
The women in the city had been idealistic of dating Adam, though a necklace with a 14 karat of diamonds should be the gateway to their heart. But most of the women found this norm as rude. Before, it was believed that the general population of women were diamond's best of friends.
Nonetheless, most of the women did not wish to befriend this gem or any other jewels that were splendour, shiny and shimmery. A knight in shining armour could sound 50's in the 20th century yet they believed it was boring for them! The women could not withstand a life that would be ruled for the years with a man who knew nothing but to command and please them with the wealth and power.Yet, some of them had survived! The woman did know what she wanted in her life, not to be tied up or caged inside like a hummingbird, that was the spirit of a female.

Then, this man had been known in his country and the women admired him but the men hated him. It might because every woman desired to sleep next to him. Of course, a man always dreamt of sleeping next to a woman and other woman, then another woman, to every woman! But Adam did not like that idea.
It was a waste of hormones and time.
He did not like to sleep to a dreamy woman nor the other woman or to every woman. Apparently, he had dreams of sleeping next to somebody.

Who could that be?

Then as years passed by, the genuine love for Adam had not faded yet.
They would still love Adam despite his sanguine disposition in the so-called SOCIETY. Perhaps, it could have been the reason why he had grown with so much strength and understanding. That he always had the spines in the hardest and challenging trials. in his cursed life.
Adam was always considered patient because of enduring the prolonged agony that he got from the people that should have been supporting him in the hardest and challenging trials in his life. The patience was always understated because none of these days had the courage to wait for someone when they could look for someone in a blink of an eye. It was the real power of a man; it was their real essence.

Adam had been loved because of the way he would rave to another in an engaging manner. He was enthusiastic of calling names, especially when he had a topic that was quite interesting.
The women would love to talk with him, and listen with him all day and all night. They loved how Adam would converse about such things like pottery, weaving quilts and sweaters and gardening. Besides, his love for nature was tremendously one of the greatest factor about Adam.

However, Adam felt like he had never loved the city despite the numerous count of women who were willing to kill a man just to be near to him.
That was how the women in the city would sacrifice themselves just to be loved by Adam. So, Adam had never found the city as his own web.
Adam felt that one day, he would find himself being trapped into another's web.

One day, Adam had finally on its own track, he thought. He would finally had his own chance to create a web.
He found this as an escapism.
He was a surfer riding on that platform surfing the way out against the tidal wave. Yes. He was not a surfer and clearly, no one could get the metaphor out of it! That was what he thought about himself living in that island; that no one would even believe that similes and metaphors; magics and illusions; and unicorns and dragons were real!

The day had come that he would have a smooth sailing through the tempest. He knew for a fact that everyone did not want him to leave because he would be a great loss in the city.
But some had seen this as a thorn that was finally taken out from the throat.
He was less melodramatic. He was less excited. He was expressionless.
For some reason, he had thought not to react on some circumstances that would occur right before his eyes. After seeing the women whom he loved to talk and be with were weeping and the fact that Adam had been crying in his entire life, so this weeping had no sense at all!

He waved his hand. He wept with a single drop of tears on both his eyes. The women were now cyring ladies. He turned back from them and had boarded in the plane.

He had booked that he would love to stay near on the window to see the beauty below him. It was one of his bucket-lists. But the request was not granted because nobility and men were most prioritized.
He thought that everybody did not want his life to be easier.
Some minutes ago, he thought that the departure was the easiest thing that had happened in his life.

After long hours of traveling, he had finally set afoot in an island.

"Where would I want to go?" he asked himself.

You might find it absurd to talk to yourself in public but it was a good way to show that he was not lonely even if he was traveling alone.
He was checking the huge map of the island. He had his pointing finger to aid him, to clearly search a nice place to stay in a visual presentation of the island. No place in that island that he felt his heart and mind agreed upon.
He breathed in. Then closed his eyes. He remembered about breathing in while closing the eyes and to open the eyes together with his chest resting in. That idea came from a nice friend, Tom: was his old friend; the old soul that was lost in a battle; the friend that was more intimate to him.

He loved to talk to Tom about anything whether it was silly or informative. Adam enjoyed every hour talking to him on the telegraph. Adam and Tom had always found a way to be connected. Distance might have separate them but it did not hinder them to be so closed as always. However, life had jested Adam.
And it was the very reason why sometimes he felt that there must be a way to joke everybody in a way which would help them to not think about the life joking them.
He did not want them to suffer like how he had suffered the pain of losing his greatest friend, Tom.
The only friend he wished to sleep with.

Then a curve was shown along with the mild glimmer of the sun on his face. Then, his cheeks were reddening. It was more way of becoming alive. The sky was his limit. Only if Tom was with him, they could have reached far beyond the sky.

He could imagine the days that were belonged to them and how they would savour the days of spending it together without minding how to live life in a much simple way.

He had still worn the necklace that they both had as a token of their friendship. It was a heart-shape that was cracked on the middle like a puzzle piece. Adam had the left piece of it with the initial letter A and Tom had the right piece with the initial T.
He breathed out and had thought that Adam had taken a happy pill that Tom had gone for good!

"What was good on it?" he seldom thought of it.

Tom had left Adam an enormous scar on his thumping heart. That was a lament. It was even more painful than being left without valid excuses.

He could have asked a valid reason why he had left. He could have asked a valid reason why he was gone for good. He could have though a valid excuse that unfortunately, Tom had seen him as a friend. And that was how he had seen the situation as being lost in a duel.
He had already accepted the truth. Though it was painful to accept it, only the truth would set him free.
So, Adam had freed himself!
He was living in the possibilities of being a happy man and not to worry not being with Tom. He was a test and fortunately, he had detested it.

"So, where would his feet take him?" he suggested to himself.

It was now a clear question.
He looked again on the map and had seen an island that had killed all the curiosed cats.

"What kind of island is that?" he said

So he began to walk and walk and walk. Asking how to get there; how he could get there; and why he could not get there?

It was forbidden! It was foreboding!

Hearing the exact answers from the people about the island had made him even more curious.

"What was with that island?"

It was evening. The moon was luminous. The light that was coming out from it was suffusing enough to light his way on the shore.
It had been days that he kept in asking himself why he could not get there and tonight was the answer.
He had found a boat that was anchored by the ocean. It was situated distantly from the civilization. Meaning, he could not be caught if he would have to steal the boat by any means. He walked cautiously. It might be a light task for him since the sound of his footstep on the sand was least than the ocean. He never had anything with him except his worn-out trouser and tee shirt and a hat as a headress. On his right hand was a flashlight. Then, he had unachored the boat. He had set his smooth sailing through the tempest.

It was difficult as what he had thought, as what he had just thought because luckily it seemed like everything had conspired to have his wishes fulfilled. Though the excursion to the forbidden island was not a wish that he had wished upon but he thought it could be a wish that had never wished by someone.
Now, he wondered why the people from that island would not need to go to this forbidden or foreboding.
He was miles away from the island and he could vividly see the facade of the island: a volcano that was perfectly cone, which painted with verdant green; the moon that was peaking on the top of the volcano which was apparently welcoming his arrival; and the fine adjacent line which was bordering between the land and the sea.

He recalled the painting he had when he was in Elementary similar to the scenery before him. Tom was the first to see his painting. Adam had remembered Tom's expression. It was tremendous. He could still remember how he was amused by his work of art. Though, the other day before his departure, he had seen it again and realised it was not a good painting but Tom acknowledged it liked it was painted by Da Vinci. Perhaps, it was his way to encourage him which he had never heard or felt from his parents.

Living alone the home which rules were strictly observed was cruel.
It was unruly to make him believe that he had mental and genetic mutation. He could not be what he wanted to be. Therefore, all his life he had hidden inside the old drawer which mites were gnawing freely!

Then, he had finally arrived.
He anchored the boat and jumped off from it. He was meters away from the island and the love he had felt for that island had grown fonder. He could not contain himself. Then, he ran towards the shore.

In his surprise, he had seens skulls and bones along the shore.
They were scattered everywhere.
He was scared and had now changed his mind.He wished to get back.
After seeing it, now he relieved the reasons why the island was forbidden.

He was about to get back to his way when all of the sudden the weather had changed. The serene ocean had become aggresive. There was a lightning drawn in the immense darkness of the sky, since the Moon was covered by the ominous clouds, and a clap of nature followed after.
Thereafter, he could no longer get back on the way to the island.
He felt he was trapped now on that forbidden island. He had to be dauntless. He knew this must not been a good idea to sail in this kind of situation. So, he walked on.
He walked his way inside the forest. Huge trees that were standing each by each were fascinating. The island from outside and even inside was the real beauty. He had heard a sound from nowhere but he did not know. Suddenly, he felt something was hit on his neck. He touched it. It had feathers on its edge. Then, he fell down.

Adam's eyes were halfly closed. His eyes were hazy and he was a bit dizzy. He widely opened his eyes and to his surprise, both wrists were chained up. He was standing. He investigated his surrounding and had realised his worn-out tee shirt and trouser were missing. Showcasing himself to everyone how it could be beautiful to be seen naked. He thought that the body was meant to be seen sometimes.

"Hello! Where am I?" he shouted

"Be silent." a weakening voice.

He searched on that sound and had found that there was also a man inside the room. He could not see him since it was dark.

"Where are we?" he asked.

"That is the question," the man replied.

He could not clearly see him because it was immensely dark.

"Who are you?" he asked.

He never heard a response from the man. The darkness inside the four-walled room was intensely terrifying.

Then Adam had heard a cracking sound of an opening door or gate.
He had also heard several footsteps. He was thinking maybe it was the rescuer. They would rescue him from this place. Certainly a knight in shining armour would be visible and save him from the damnation.

"Here! I am here! I am here!" he exclaimed.

He just heard footsteps but he had never seen figures approaching towards the door that was open and arched.

Then, the sound of the footsteps annoyed him so much that he wanted to close his ears. Unfortunately, he could not.

"SHUT UP!" he suggested.

But who would hear that out?

"SHUT UP!!!" he demanded.

He could not take it any longer,
"SHUT UP! YOU MOTH-"

And he was intervened by the unseen man.

"Hey! Stop!" he ordered.

"Why would you want me to stop? Can't you see we are chained up inside this freaking room and it's causing me to freak the hell out!"

"Be silent." that"s the least thing you could do for the moment.

"But why? I don't understand WHY THE HELL OUT I SHOULD BE SILENT?! ALL MY LIFE I HAD BEEN SILENT!" he said panickingly.

"Because this is the Room of Silence."

He had moved his neck backward a bit. It was bizarre to hear that this room was named as the Room of Silence when they were chained up and who would name the room like that?

How pathethic was that?

"What are you talking about? I would not stop from shouting and no one can stop me from doing it because I am..."

A spear was hit on his chest.
It was thrusted deeply. He was shocked by this presence of a swift spear that came out from nowhere.

The man was not breathing for some minutes. He had ,again, witnessed another death caused by freedom of expression. He held his breath long enough that he exhaled out as a relief of contentment. The guy had told Adam about the danger of it but he never listened. He could not see the real situation of him because what he had just seen was a glimpse of spear that was caught by his eyes through  the help of the moon shining before the dark archway.

Adam was continously bleeding.
The blood was spurting out and was tracing from the sharp tip to the handle of the spear.
He had been betrayed by the behemoth of life.

How could it happen to me?

The moonlight that was shining before the archway was visible.
It seemed like the Moon had no longer been covered by the clouds.
However, he had not noticed that the ceiling was widely open, that there was light above him because he was focusing on the dark archway and the surreal sounds of footsteps that were coming from that passage.

The moonlight had lit the room.
Now Adam had seen the  man who had warned him. He had noticed a necklace that is a  shape heart and was like a puzzle piece.
Adam thought it was Tom and he was right! Now, despite the spear that was attached on his ribbed chest and had made a serious affliction, he was mesmerized by the betrayal of Life.

"T-t-tom... is t-that y-you?" Adam said while trying to reach his lips to his ears.

Adam was the master of his soul; the captain of his ship;  the traveller yet the dreamer; the loving man and his undying love for a man. Adam had finally lowered down its sail. He would now let the wind maneuver his expedition with other souls that wander. He might have lost another battle again but he would not stop from achieving what his heart wanted. It had always been Tom that he wanted for all of his life.
It was hard to believe that for a single time, he had again seen the man of his dreams. Then, the blood gushed out in his mouth, "... I love you." he whispered on the wind and a curve was shown along with the mild glimmer of the Moon on his face.

"Adam? Adam!" Tom said amusingly and shockingly.

"So, it was a tragic ending for Adam and Tom." he said.

"I love how the story entailed from the beginning to its end. Thought it was a mishap for Adam to die when in fact Tom was also there." the lady in red suggested.

The other woman who wore white added that, "That's how a tragic story work."

And the lady in brown strongly agreed with the two aforementioned women's opinion about the story. Whereas the woman who wore black just nodded as if she was listening on the story the whole time Peter was storytelling it. Since she could dare not to say what was on her mind, "Peter, was the embodiment of the naturality of a man. Henceforth, men are promiscous in nature!"
