The little Pen Thief

"Where is my pen?"

"I don't know. It's your pen you must know where you keep it."

"I kept it in my shirt's pocket, I can't find it."

While the couple were arguing, two shiny eyes were peaking through the door with a smirk on her face. After all one more pen was added in her treasure box, where one can find around hundreds of pen.

Now after 14 years.

"Where is my pen? "

"We have so many of it why only mine. Where does it go? I never found any of my lost pens. I wonder who stole my favourite pens."

Those little eyes were shining again with the same smirk on her face.

"Dad here is my first copy of my novel. Don't forget to read it. I am getting late for the airport will leave now. Bye maa, bye Appa."

"Yeah dear. Take care of yourself and call when you reach."

" I will, maa."

Appa didn't approve of his daughter being a writer. Months passed and with the increasing work pressure the father didn't get time to read the novel.

One day while going through the newspaper he came across the headline. The novel his daughter wrote became the best seller of the year with her exclusive interview where she was asked about her mystical dedication. And in the answer she said it's a secret. Rushing towards the study room father found the copy of her novel and without any delay he read the first page.

"This book is dedicated to all those lost pens which helped me writing this novel.
Love,
The little Pen Thief."

Reading these lines father couldn't help but laugh with teary eyes. Because now he knows who stole all those pens of his and what's it worth.
