The Other Side of Silence

These days I noticed how people talks to much
Some giving pointless opinions for arguments sake
Like flying stones hitting aimlessly
Words of fire burning in high tones
Don’t bother to shun, you’ll get hit for sure

I was fooled thinking that these people are giants
Just then I knew they’re just nothing but a mere weakling
Trying to hide behind those loud petty voices
Drying others up so they can feel whole
As if it could patch up the emptiness and insecurities inside

But then, behind those clouds of loudness comes silence
Piercing the clouds like a thunder clap
Deafening as it makes its way through the crowd
A response that renders everyone speechless
Leaving bunch of questions with nothing for an answer

The very reason why I see less talkers as the strongest
They can either quence the fire or fuel it up
Indestructible walls are built from stones of insecurities
Stabbing words are shifted into exquisite poetries and literatures
Bridges are burned down by dead air

Given the common notion as synonymous to fragile
I give silence a new meaning 
"Fragile things do oftenly break
But the scattered pieces. . . . . . . . .
Are most likely to form the deepest cuts"
