The Universe Cares, Always.

“The universe cares about you. Even if no one does.”
The universe cares so much about you,
That it has given you the Moon and the Stars
To accompany you during your journey in darkness.
And the magnificent Sun,
To tell you that once we hit our lowest
The only inevitable thing to do, is to rise.
It listens to the deafening silence.
And ignores the meaningless chaos.
It absorbs your tears, even when it’s no short of water
And never takes away your light of hope
Even when majority of it remains in darkness.
You can’t bear the weight this universe carries for you
How it changes itself to keep you moving.
Yet, more often than not, you let all its love go in vain.
You talk about wise gods living in heaven
Beautiful goddesses with limitless power,
But you never talk about the nothingness that surrounds you
The ultimate power that resides in everything.
How can something that loves you so much,
That listens to words you don’t even say,
That accepts you for things you are afraid to say out loud,
Turn a deaf ear towards your pain? How?
How do you manage to appreciate
the transient love in someone’s eyes
And yet ignore how the Big Bang,
How every creation, every destruction that this universe has faced;
How every galaxy and solar system ever created;
How the position of every single planet;
How the entire evolution of living beings;
Has been timed so perfectly, just so,
You could experience this very moment.
And if you are not doing the best thing that you can,
Right in this moment, right this place.
Then you owe every thing you have ever lived with,
Every piece of nature you have ever exploited,
Every atom of air you have ever robbed the purity of;
Every drop of water that became you;
An apology.
An apology so deep,
That Evil no longer feels guilty.
Good no longer feels content.
Water no longer destroys Fire.
Nature no longer creates.
You owe a solemn apology,
To this Universe.
Take a moment and stop worrying so much.
Stop wondering where your share of love is,
Where your piece of happiness is.
Stop worrying about the future, the past.
And I request you, the most heartfelt of all requests,
That leave all that you don’t know,
All that is made up of fog,
All that remains unanswered, into the hands of the Universe.
Do what you can do.
Live each moment to the fullest.
Live the present, like it is all you really have.
Because it is, it really is.
Let the past be where it should be.
The outcomes, the answers, the certainty;
This universe will bring to you.
Just make all the pain that it has gone through for you,
Amount to something worthy.
And I promise you, I really do,
That this Universe will always look after you
No matter what.
