They say your arms
Are a thousand hugs
Your words, a million nags
That when lost, you’ll always search
For they say,
Though your words are nagging,
More of it is for guidance,
That a teenager’s way isn’t zigzag,
But a path, so straight
For her to not go astray
They say your smile
sweetens any bile,
a comfort,
telling everything’s alright
They say
You are never seen down
For you always have to act bright
Never showed a day’s blue
For how could you?
the little lieblings look upon you.
I say, they say
For how can I,
Tell of a woman-
A mother,
In my teen years
I have no longer.
