Think How Lonely The Moon Is

10:18 PM "Think How Lonely The Moon Is"

Think how lonely the Moon is
In every dark, dreary midnight;
She's the mere thing your eyes could see
In a colossal empty darkness in the galaxy,
She is alone—hanging along with the dead stars that's so far away from her

Think how lonely the Moon is
Inside the humongous swirl of Milky Way—misty with black light,
She's in there—there in the midst of the planets; billion miles away from where she is

Think how lonely the Moon is
In the bathos of the frigid night;
Whilst everyone was deeply asleep,
She's alone— staring at us from top,
Giving light from within
