1. What inspires you to write?
What inspires me to write are my emotions. Whenever I feel lonely, or happy, or messed up, I use writing as an escape. I just want to de-clutter my head if that is, at all, even possible.
2. What are you most afraid of?
What I am most afraid of is not being understood. I have always been scared of not being able to reach out, to not have the right words to use on people. I don't think that most people around me don't try to understand; I think the problem is with myself and my lack of brevity.
3. Do you remember the first story or poem you ever read and the impact it had on you?
No. I do not remember the first story or poem I ever read. But if I have to talk of the first story that had a huge impact on me, it would be The Last Leaf by O. Henry. It took me a while before a story satisfied me as much as it did. It was also the reason why I read all the stories in advance, from my grade level until the higher years' English books.
4. What's your favorite writing genre and why do you like it?
I like writing things about my real life experiences a lot. But I'm also fond of writing love stories, the kind which I'll never experience in my lifetime...probably😅. Oh, I'm also fond of making Existentialistic stories for the simple reason that I can dive deeper into my unconscious when writing. So it makes my thinking process a whole lot more enjoyable.
5. Tell us about your writing process and how you brainstorm ideas.
Actually... I don't have any method. Sorry. Haha. I just write whenever I feel like it. After I finish and am satisfied with what I wrote, I'll publish it, if not, then it stays in my drafts. (I have tons of drafted stories believe me. Haha,)
6. Who/what inspires you to write?
I mostly get inspiration from deep conversations with other people. I also get ideas from reading events, articles, and observing the world around me.
7. What's the one thing you always wanted to ask a stranger who read your story?
Umm... none😅. I have very minimal expectations from my own work. That's why I get surprised whenever I get a lot of recommends and good reactions. (If you are a fan of my works, thanks for reading.)
