To those girls out there

You are not safe...

At your haven home or in this wild world,

Amongst copious crowd or in a lonely valley,

In the streets in daylight or at a club at late night,

In private air conditioned car or in a public bus

You are not safe

Cover up ,wear a saree or go in shorts flashing some flesh

Hide you face wear a hijab or flaunt your heavy makeup

Wear your traditional attire or put on that sexy dress

You are not safe

In d midst of your family or in your solitary life,

Surrounded by those familiar faces or accompanied by strangers,

With sophisticated high class people or among those uncultured ones

You are not safe...

As it does not care

If you are naked or covered,

If you are modern or modest,

If you are bold or prudent...

You will be assaulted, molested and raped and killed

Your body,your soul,your self-respect,your dignity,nothing will be left unharmed

If not with it's touch then with its stares

If not with it's stance then with it's outlooks

Nowhere,You can escape from this savage beast

Sorry but i won't ask you to fight back and stand high,

 neither i will say you to be yourself and fly,

nor I will tell you say no and not to be shy,

This might change,(someday)the beast will die,

But today  

Whoever you are,wherever you are

You will be oppressed.....
