I have worn that "Dupatta" before ...
The Kurta, Jhumka and stroked Kajal with dark brown eyes .
I know there’s nothing special about it.
I mean, it's different but common.
Yet , I felt a special urge to wear it, when you were there.
Only because I had this absurd idea of you liking it.
And the irony that you could not see it, made me crave for you.
Crave so much more than you could imagine!
Figuratively, it was similar to you being around and that was the reason I wore that "Dupatta" a little more often.
And
Poured bright colors on that plain shirt to show how happy my life was with you being around.
But now you are gone.
And the Kurta, Jhumka, my Bindi they are all reminding me of you.
No, they do not mock my love !
They face the sudden existential crisis, just like my soul.
Because if I “do” embrace that Kajal, it feels like consciously lying about your non-existence.
And if I “do not” , then concisely it feels like killing my soul.
Now tell me,
how to revive a soul that is drenched in the stains of your love, my love!
