Toyota Malaysia recently launched a special financing service for graduates to get an all-new car.
UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd has announced a partnership with Maybank Islamic Berhad to provide special financial support for graduates who can purchase a brand new Toyota Vios, Yaris and Avanza.
Under the terms of Murabahah, in addition to Al Ijarah Thumma Al-Bai (AITAB) 's Islamic Hire-purchase, Murabahah Vehicle Term Financing- I (MVTF-I) will provide graduates with an additional fund-raising option. This financing scheme only applies to Peninsular Malaysia.
Murabahah financing also follows the Principles of Islamic financing, combining takaful's contribution to Takaful binding and other fees (legal fees, stamp duty, etc.), the total amount of financing can reach 100%.
"UMW Toyota Motor Corporation has been working with our business partners to find the best way for our customers to have a brand new Toyota," said Ravindran K, President of UMW Toyota Moto.Now with the new financing, graduates can buy a Toyota Vios, Yaris or Avanza because the financing will make it easier for customers to make a down payment.
Graduates aged between 21 and 30 (with a degree) are eligible.In addition, their monthly income needs to reach RM3,000 and they have been working for more than 6 months.For graduates who have not worked until six months, their parents can be guarantors (subject to terms and restrictions).
If your income is less than RM3000 but above RM2000, you can still apply as long as your parents (as guarantor) have a household income of RM5000.
The Toyota Vios, Yaris and Avanza are all best-selling models in The Malaysian market.They are small, easy to drive and cheap to maintain, making them ideal for graduates who need a scooter when they start working after graduation.
