Love and care have given
Sacrifices offered
Like a candle melting
A punching bag losing its sand
Yet continues to fight
Believing that it's worth the try
Despite all the blames and complaints
And the feeling of not being enough
Doing better until the last teardrop
Just so you could succeed in life
You might not understand these things
Because you're focused on what is comforting
While neglecting my pruning to build your character
I may not be enough for you
But please know that I'm doing my very best for you to see the hue
I never ask for much,
To see you fly with strong wings is what I want
I will continue to give you my feathers even without you realizing that
I might lose my wings and everything,
But I'm willing to do it just so you could finally be free
Surely, to see you soar is my most rewarding end
You do not need to know,
You do not need to ask how and why
