If you're looking for a new chip, Intel's Upcoming processors in 2032 may be right for you. This article will cover the Raptor Lake, Alder Lake, and Ryzen 5 family of processors. You can also learn about the Core i9 and Ryzen 5 in this article. Intel's Upcoming processors in 2022 may not be ready yet, but you can still get a head start with these models. Find out more info about latest tech related news.
Raptor Lake
If you're thinking about buying a new computer, you might want to wait until 2022 to make the switch to the newest generation of CPUs. While the current flagship chip, the 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake," has sixteen cores and 24 threads, you might be better off waiting until Intel introduces Raptor Lake, which will have a hybrid architecture, or a mix of Efficient and Performance cores. A typical consumer CPU will have eight Efficient cores and 16 Performance cores, but you'll still have plenty of options to consider when deciding which model to purchase.
Alder Lake
The new generation of Intel processors is focusing on multitasking and content creation. The Core i9-12900K is capable of delivering up to 84% faster frame rate than its predecessor, the Kaby Lake-S. This new CPU will also feature up to 36% faster performance in Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and Autodesit, according to Intel. The new processors will also feature a new "Intel Thread Director" that helps the OS thread scheduler distribute workloads across heterogeneous CPU cores.
Ryzen 5
AMD announced the Zen 3 refresh for its upcoming processors in 2022. The new processors are expected to offer up to a 15% performance boost. The company announced the update during a video celebrating the five-year anniversary of its Zen architecture. Chief marketing officer John Taylor said that the performance boost is similar to that of a generational upgrade. The new processors will feature AMD's 3D V-Cache technology, which enables larger cache capacities.
Core i9
At CES 2022, Intel announced loads of new processors. They unveiled twenty-two new desktop CPUs. Mobile chips are slated to fall into three different categories, the H-Series for enthusiast computers, the P-Series for thin and light laptops, and the HX Series for high-end workstations. The HX Series was first announced on 10 May, and it's expected that new mobile workstations will be powered by this chip soon. Meanwhile, Raptor Lake will debut later this year.
Core i7-12800H
The latest announcement by Intel has paved the way for a new generation of mobile processors. The company introduced three new mobile processor categories in 2022: the H-series for enthusiast gamers, the P-series for thin and light laptops, and the U-series for work machines. At CES 2022, Intel focused on the H-series. These processors will be 40% faster than the previous generation of mobile processors.
Core i9-12900K
Known as 'Crossfire', Intel's Upcoming processors in 2023 will be capable of handling up to 24 cores and threads. They will also support Turbo Boost Max 3.0, and clock speeds will reach 5.1 GHz. For gaming, the 12900K will be the best choice. With up to 24 cores and up to 20 threads, it is sure to outperform any of its predecessors.
