Values and Morals

There are certain values that children need to inculcate in themselves..be it through their personal experiences or their parents' teachings..these values are of utmost importance as they make or break a child's personality, as well as these values, stay by them for life. These values are very important to live a peaceful, beautiful, and wholesome life.

1) Empathy: "The ability to imagine how another person is feeling and so understand his/her mood"-Oxford dictionary

Being empathetic towards others is one of the most important values children should have..children should know how to understand the situations and other people's feelings and should know how to act accordingly.

2) Kindness: Being sassy or rude is an absolutely wrong way to behave with other people..kindness is a virtue..treating anyone and everyone around you with kindness is what makes the world a better place. Being kind definitely goes a long way as people remember you for the deeds you do and for the way you behave.

3) Unbiasedness: Unbiasedness is a value that should definitely be inculcated in children.. especially the children of the current and the future generations as the current times are filled with biased and unruly people. Children should be taught to be unbiased..no matter the gender, the caste, the creed, anything..being biased based on various reasons would further cause an uncalled for divide in the society and the people in the oppressed part of the society will be the sufferers. So, make your child practice unbiasedness from the grass-roots level.

4) Loyalty: Being loyal is a trait that should be in everyone..loyalty basically means being consistent, devoted, and faithful to something or someone you believe in.. especially in your relationships as loyalty is something that makes your relationships with the people you love way stronger.

5) Sympathy: Sympathy basically means being able to understand other people's feelings.. especially their problems..being sympathetic, understanding and acknowledging other people's problems and even helping them out will definitely make you a better person.

6) Honesty: Honesty is mostly absent in people..people tend to lie about things just to make their lives easier..so teach your children at a very early stage that speaking the truth is very important to lead a blissful tension-free life.

7) Respect: Respect for everyone around you is a very important trait to inculcate in your child...if your child learns to respect people of every age, race, religion, or gender, then he/ she would be at the receiving end of respect too.
