Video marketing is one of the hottest ways to promote yourself, your product or your service and it is very cost effective. You will no longer need to go to an ad agency or expensive production house, spending tens of thousands of dollars to have great results that folks will respond too. You certainly can do it yourself at under $300 and distribute your videos to the entire world for free. amazon video agency
Being an old advertising guy that basically bugs me, but having re-branded my company and services over time I know that new is good. And video marketing is still relatively new for all business guys because they don't have the time to surf the net hang out on Facebook all day or play YouTube for kicks. They're too busy trying to boost their sales to fill revenue gaps inside their budgets.
For all business owners and entrepreneurs the usage of video in your marketing plan makes plenty of sense. So you should consider utilizing it and soon.
What do you need? Turns out, not much. I talked to quite a few video marketers over the past 2 yrs to see what they use and do not require got started with very much. Bear in mind that as your organization grows you are able to and probably may wish to upgrade, but there is no reason to start that way.
A space to record.
This is often your office, your home, a gathering or meeting place, Restaurants, bars, parks, buses and trains. How big is your imagination? And how does it tie into your organization? Among my clients uses the same upstairs bar every week. He promotes the positioning in his videos and on his website and they allow him great utilization of awesome setting. I set my studio up in my home office. Where do you intend to have yours? Experiment, mix it down when it fits your niche.
A movie recording device.
I favor a Kodak Zi8 Pocket video Camera. It's pros and cons but usually the one pro that you simply can't afford to overlook is it's capacity to make use of an additional microphone jack that supports stereo. Your viewers can and will forgive mediocre video although not bad audio. The greatest con if you ask me is the shortcoming to flip the screen toward you when you're recording. I prefer to see what I look like and the set up while recording so it does require a bit more preparation since I shoot 90% by myself. There are lots of others, just make certain you can use an additional microphone.
An additional microphone.
I such as a lavalier lapel mic. I make use of a corded model but you will find wireless ones too. I recently don't like having to many variables that could make a mistake, and in my experience when it electronic and doesn't have a cord, I worry.
Remote Control.
Kodak makes one for their cameras and you are able to Google search or head to Amazon. Makes life so much easier.
Tripod.
Nothing fancy. I personally use two. My favorite is really a little 10 inch tall pocket model, another is really a full sized. Take your pick. It surely depends on where you record.
Set Background.
Like I stated earlier, this can be whatever is behind you in the area you're in, or you could have something fancy built. In my office studio I have great cherry bookcases full of books (and yes, I have read a couple of of them). But often times I make use of a solid black sheet that I bought for about $13. I recently tack it down and stand or sit in front of it while filming. Nothing too distracting. What lends itself to your niche? Also, if you're a movie techie, and if you're "what are you doing looking over this," you are able to manipulate the backgrounds while editing.
A computer.
Ensure it is significantly less than 2 years old. I'm a pc guy so I won't even touch on Apple products because I wouldn't have a clue. Most pc's run Windows.
Movie editing software.
Windows Movie Maker comes with Windows 7. There are lots of options for editing but like I said, you will get started for less than $300 if that you don't try to play with the big boys. That's not what this is about. That is about getting you online in videos - cheaply! (I heard a rumor that Mac's have incredible video capabilities built in.)
YouTube account.
You can set up your businesses channel and use your logo and graphics to customize it. But for the present time, just open your account. You will find other video distribution sites, but YouTube is number one.
You don't need any longer than this. Space, camera, microphone, handy remote control, tripod, background, computer, editing software and a YouTube account.
What's next?
Be creative! Don't be stiff and boring (like most of mine) be exciting, be daring, express yourself and most of all have fun. Ever wonder why those stupid so so videos on YouTube get so many views? Because YouTube viewers aren't trying to find professional quality videos, they are looking for relate-able videos. Normal people that they can connect with in their particular lives. Make sure they are funny and enjoyable which means that your viewers may wish to tell others about them.
Okay, this is the setup. Simple, inexpensive and doable on a limited budget.
