What is Hammam or Turkish bath?

It is a very popular form of bath in Turkey, which not only the Turks themselves use diligently, but also tourists who make pilgrimages to it use them to a great extent. In fact, it has become so popular that you can also experience Hammam baths at home in different parts of the country.

The special thing about a Turkish bath is that you get really thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed. It is much more than just a bath, and you also get a massage and a thorough cleansing of the body. The bath itself consists of several elements, which take place in stages.
