What’s a bad thing everyone should experience at least once?

The next day. Wake up a little earlier than usual.

Go to work. Work a little harder than you did before. Eat a little healthier.

Join a gym. Power through an overdue workout.

When you get home, reconnect with an old friend. Talk about the old times. Talk about making some new times. Make plans to meet for coffee.

The next day, do it again.

Do it better: a little harder, a little faster, a little more precise.

And then haul your sore body to the gym.

Push through it. Let nothing distract or discourage you. Stay forward focused like a racehorse.

Take up a new hobby or rediscover an old one.

Then sleep and do it again.

Let this become your cycle. Your new cadence.

And then, over time, watch as you start waking up skinnier, sexier, more driven, and more confident.

You start walking differently, a little taller, a little smoother, a little faster on the path of success.

You don’t notice it, but others do.

You make friends. You ask out an old crush. A beauty you were long afraid to. But you are no longer you. You are something else. Something better.

Everything starts to go right. Everything falls into place.

But before all of this happens, before you do all of these things.

Go get your heart broken.

And let it be the best thing that ever happened to you
