My youth days were dark and gloomy,
But everybody say I was lucky and happy.
They've no idea I was full of naivety
Wrecking me slowly by slowly.
I believe family is like a precious jewelry
Made of crystals that are very shiny.
When it is crashed down,
You would feel drown.
I had always wished to the star
That I'd live at least without war.
With love and bond,
My hopes turn fond.
But unknowingly darkness consumed me,
Hatred had eaten me,
Anger had made me
A monster I'd never wish I would be.
I had stumbled and fall
With the shadows that had me all
Too troubled and weary
To stand and be merry.
I had questioned numerous times
If the Almighty really hear our cries.
Then there's this desire...
To end my life and burn in fire.
Everything became pointless.
Fighting the demon made me helpless.
Always been a long fight...
That nothing seemed to be right.
I carried the heavy loads
And cried my heart out in the roads.
Just when I was caving in...
A celestial being came in.
A pink pigeon appeared to show the light
That somehow gave me might.
My wounded soul had healed
And the hope in me had me kneeled.
For the first time in history,
I realized it was all worthy.
Everything has purpose;
And now, I just need to focus.
This is a letter I want to give to my partner who had been ignoring me for several days.
00This poem is made from my short story: "The Pink Pigeon", which is inspired from my own life story.
