please remember me for my eminence
in moments where i am not helpless
and in reveries where i’m not a mess
i am saying these words with great emphasis
please remember me for my allegiance
and in times where i radiated happiness
like flowers blossoming with no distress
for in the future, this will be an evidence
when i’m completely on the edge of passing
my body smells of reek instead of roses
and my skin has aged, no longer sun kissed
please, remember me for my death is calling
and this is it, my last words, i suppose
“all of this will be a proof that i existed.”
–a.r, when death calls.
"now, whenever i’m awake at 11:30 and it’s a friday night, i think of him and i let him go."
