Like, repost, subscription - these words are probably familiar to everyone who has been on the Internet at least once. In less than 10 years, they have turned from a measure of high-quality content into an indispensable attribute of a successful person and even a product that people are happy to buy and sell. It got to the point that not having likes has become almost a personal flaw that you need to be ashamed of. Therefore, Instagram decided to change the paradigm that has developed in the world and reduce the impact of likes on the lives of its users.
A few months ago, it became known that Instagram may turn off likes. It was difficult to believe in this, but given that the developers of the service are constantly testing innovations of varying degrees of usefulness, no one attached much importance to this. However, this week Instagram took the first step towards a no-likes internet and turned off their counter for some users.
There are several reasons to disable Instagram likes . First of all, because of their - I'm not afraid of these words - social significance. Feeling responsible for the psychological well-being of users, the management of the social network could decide to simply remove them, so as not to tempt some once again to seek universal recognition and not to depress others. The second reason is to increase your audience.
The counter was disconnected only unilaterally. This means that users who are in the test group can still see the number of likes for their posts, but cannot see them on other people's pages. In this case, the column with the marks "I like" is still in place. You can click on it and see who has liked the photo or video. And, if such a need arises, you can even count their number, but only manually. Maybe you would want to know how to see like history on instagram, so use special services for that deal.
Many users do not have a large number of subscribers and do not want to see 2-3 likes under their photos. They are frustrated by the lack of interest in their publications and more often than not they simply stop posting something. The point is, people don't comment on photos without likes. This is psychology. It seems to me that disabling the likes counter will allow Instagram to increase the audience of active users who have few fans on social networks, and will give the opportunity to develop your account without cheating. And the absence of a counter will hurt your pride less and will allow you not to check their number corny every 5 minutes.
For the most part, people focus solely on their content when it comes to creating their blog, but ho
