"Nothing is impossible. A superhero lives in all of us. We are born as winners. Do you know why?" asked Mr Subhash Ghai to his audience.
"Why" came the question posed from the audience hat was seated in a spacious hall , red carpeted. The front seats were occupied by rhe well - meaning persons of the day.
" Because ,before you become a zygote and then a baby ,here is a marathon , a race of millions of sperms."he the CEO of the company said.
The audience was engrossed at this time. A pin drop silence was followed .He continued," Do you know who entrys the ovary to have a life? The sperm which is the healthiest of all , the fastest only marks the journey of life. We are born with distinct capabilities .God has a reason to send us on this earth. And our task is to find that reason and fulfill it." He was a man of many parts.
At the age of mere twenty five, he established a factory on his accord. Then suddenly someone popped up a question , " Does not luck play any role in our life?"
"hmmmm, no. If this would be the case then i am sure i wont be standing here. I hale from a third class family. It is the hard work that turns your misfortunes into your smiling strenghts. " His words inflicted with enthusiasm made every one felt their own individual importance.
I was sitting in the second row , facing his left side.As he spoke each word , I felt as if I have already proved my worth.
There was a huge applause whaen he decented the stairs. Confidence was radiating in every part of his body. Then suddenly, he fell off from the stairs. A sinister silence was there . The whole crowd stood ,peeking to the embarrassing situation.The managers came with a rush to help him out . But he pushed their hand away.
He was inflicted with polio in his left leg. Yup ,the CEO was a polio strixken person.
As he got up all by himself,he asked for a mike . The mike was handed to him in a couple of seconds. The next thing taughr me that i didn't learn in school." If I fell , I make it a point that i get up all by myself. Not because I do not want help, but because I am the only one whose endurance can sccumb my limitations to silence.If life challenges me, hen i also have to be that hero who surprises and challenges life and say TRY ME..."
He was a living model of success. His words brought a smile that stayed not just for an hour or a day or a week but for a life as I also have to FIGHT BACK.
