The allure of this time-loop movie is clear: who does not dream of having the ability to relive a minimum of one day in their own lifetime? "We see the very same pictures of young black people being murdered and over again," Bristol states. In his picture, the time is "a logo to highlight those tragedies. New titles, exactly the same story." Bristol points from that time travel isn't always an escapist dream for black men and women, for whom the past is often a hostile atmosphere.
