You're lucky, you're just a kid!
Said by a man from a distance, wearing a plain loose white shirt and a pair of denim jeans with plain white shoes, leaning on the wall while watching me play with my friend.
Baffled, as I try to pick up words piece by piece of what might the man mean by saying that "I'm lucky, cause I'm just a kid?"
What is it that he spoke of a language that this mind can never understand?
It took me years of living before I finally understood his words.
I never get to give an answer to myself until I watched some kids playing outside.
The expression on the man's face was just a reflection of his experiences in life.
Now that I'm leaning on the wall as I stand and watch those kids playing, well,
I can never forget what that man said to an innocent child.
This is my scar, the scar I got a month later after I turned 24.
