The Detroit native singer marked his place in the industry by featuring on Lil Baby’s ‘Grace’ after which he just he released an entire album “Young & Turnt”.

The rapper suggested that a deluxe album was the way to go and was speculating a lot about which track must be on it. It seems like he’s gotten a clear picture as he’s released the tracklist as well as the release date of the extended version.
“With this deluxe, I just wanted to keep the momentum going and stay in my bag,” said 42 Dugg. The album has nine new songs which include “Habit (remix)” featuring Moneybagg and “Hard Times (remix)” by DeJ Loaf. The “We Paid” rapper has worked with producers like Southside, Helluva and more on the album.
42 Dugg added “A few of these was supposed to be on Y&T2, so we collectively decided that y’all deserved this sh*t right now while we in the middle of the summer, and the middle of a controversial time. I’m just tryna bring the fun out, as y’all know, and I also wanted to showcase a few of the Detroit artists that everybody might not know, and give y’all a lil sneak peek before these boys turn the f*ck up.”
In the Instagram video, 42 Dugg can be seen sitting on top of a black car, with bundles of cash in his hand. He announced the deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed 2019 mixtape. The Friday release will include nine new songs in addition to the original 14 track setlist. "Y&T2 Deluxe" will feature Moneybagg Yo on the "Habit" remix" and Dej Loaf for the "Hard Times" remix.
Hip-hop portal Hot New Hip Hop also reports that 42 Dugg worked with fellow rapper Baby Money as well as Dugg's fellow Detroit artists. The mixtape also included hip-hop producers Helluva, Southside, and more.
"Young & Turnt 2" Deluxe Version is set to drop this Friday, June 19. The 23-track mixtape is still under Yo Gotti's CMG label and Lil Baby's 4 Pockets Full media imprint.
Who Runs Detroit? 42 Dugg, Apparently
In an interview with Hot New Hip Hop, the Detroit-native recalls his difficult life growing up. The rapper has been locked up for six years, spending significant time in correctional facilities. While in solitary confinement, 42 Dugg, whose real name is Dion Hayes, realized rap is his way out.
Taking up the name 42 Dugg, Hayes signed a combination deal with Yo Gotti and Lil Baby. He is currently a talent under both Collective Music Group and 4 Pockets Full labels. His first mixtape, "Young and Turnt," peaked at the 19th spot on Billboard's Indie Albums Charts. A month later, he released his follow-up "Young & Turnt, Vol 2" to even greater success. "Y&T2" broke into the top 10, peaking at No. 9 of the Indie Albums Charts.
