I regret not telling you,
When my heart is screaming of these words...
When we pass by each other,
And I turn around to follow you
With my eyes that are
Full of adoration.
When you sit next to me,
And my heart pounds against my chest
I embrace myself for fear
That you might hear it.
When you talk to me,
I grapple for words
Decorating them with some tone
Veiling my feelings underneath.
But I'll never know,
What it would be had I unveiled,
Had I opened my arms wide
Letting the emotions out
Instead of embracing them.
I regret not telling you
When my eyes pour out the tears
That materialize from my heart that screams:
I love you.
