Love at First Sight

I was in a lonely park.
It was a rainyday.
I first see your face,
tears were gone dry.

I gave you a hanky.
You looked away
You told me, you're okay
but little you did know, I'm not convinced
so, you turn back and said,
Please, go away!

I can still recall the dark circles under your beautiful eyes
Your pale skin
Your strong and feminine side
As you pushed me away.

It's late afternoon
The humidity made you sentimental
You sob and tears pours out
You said it's your ex who broke your heart
and leave you in your wedding day.

An urge of hugging you went in me.
You look into my eyes
But I refused to look at you
That day, I realized,
you're the most beautiful girl
I ever met.
I'm still thankful I met you that day.

Years had passed, the park was the same
You're still as pretty as how I met you that day.
I hug you in the same position where I met you
as I say the words I want to say
From the first time I met you
I know it was you all along.

"Marry me again!"
Tears pours down as you nod your head.
Making me the happiest man on earth again.
Same scenario when I first met you but feeling isn't the same.

It's our 50th wedding anniversary
I can feel I'm floating in the air.
The sparks are still there, it's the same.
But the feeling is brand-new
when I see in your wedding gown like in our first wedding day.

I never believe in love at first sight
but it was then when I met you,
I know, I'll adore you forever....
