On the edge

Sometimes it feels like you've been born with the wrong skill set or maybe whatever you've done to become the person you are, does not match with what is required to live in the real world.

Does it count for nothing?

You've always tried to be hopeful that there are people like you, who are incapable of thinking linearly or compartmentalising everything. But what if you come across those people only to realise that they have already accepted and adapted to this other form of living? It gets you thinking that maybe you've held your ground for too long. Maybe it's time to be on the other side.

But can you even get there?

This consciousness makes it difficult for you to share anything which could be considered normal for anyone. The connection always leads to a complex equation and most people are looking to simplify their life. You're not sure if simplifying means the same as scattered or if it means watering yourself down to fit in.

Should you continue to console yourself that eventually you'd come to terms with a form of living you've never known? Or should you continue to believe that people at some point could finally decide to be uninhibited and you'd be around to see it?

It feels like you're on the edge; of an abyss or paradise? Wish you could tell.
