End to terror

Life isn't linear and at times you just don't know how to go about it. It isn't without merit that many problems are self created and can be worked out, but at the same time there are some which trap you. You can't rebuild your life when you're in quicksand; the harder you struggle, the more you get pulled in. So you could keep at it till you exhaust yourself without progress, or you could give up your imaginary power and wait it out. 

Waiting isn't given as much credit as it deserves. It is the toughest thing to do, because while you're waiting, you're never sure if it'll pass and you'd survive. You wait with or without hope. People start to blame your complacent attitude for your failures. The ambitious ones come at you and claim that you need to have the hunger and drive to be able to fight the world and attain 'success'.

This could fill you with self doubt about the life you have in mind and if you should leave it behind. 

People trying to get you on the path to worldly success can make you anxious. It's an undesirable state which can make you passive. It isn't a passionate emotion that you can empower yourself back from the brink of. It’s something much more quiet and subtle.

Ultimately, it leads you to think that maybe it's better to put an end to terror than to live in terror without end. You slowly find yourself drifting away. How do you come back then? Or can you? Afterall, peace comes at a cost and only you can decide the price you're willing to pay to live the way you want.
