Patience

I do often wonder when it is that I'll meet you
Will it be this second, hour, maybe a day or two
I also tend to ponder on how it will be
When I finally meet the person who was meant for me

I imagine scenarios that could be us one day
I imagine dancing with you, to our song as we sway
I imagine us walking, and laughing as we go
What the future may hold, is still yet to know

I imagine the courting, the dates and all
I imagine that for you, I'd slowly fall
I imagine the first kiss that we're still yet to share
I imagine days when I'd tell you just how much I care

I'd imagine asking you, if you would be mine
Oh to hear that, "Yes", would just be divine
So as I'm still yet to meet you, patiently I'll wait
Until the time comes, when I find you, my soulmate
