When I saw you, I didn't really have much to say
Cigarette in hand, and a smile so pure
It was a night to remember I'm fairly sure
But now I'm intrigued, I'd like to know more
I wonder what life will have in store
With a voice so cute, and skin ever so soft
With eyes that sparkled, leaving anyone aloft
With the way you danced to the music of the scene
The world was yours, as if you were the queen
With the way you laughed, and enjoyed your time
The whole night was ever so seemingly sublime
And as the night was ending, your smile was yet to fade
Collectively recalling all the memories that were made
Essentially thankful, for the time well spent
Since that night was for sure a memorable event
