From diary of the unknown author
I recall , once she told me that life was not a cinema and true love is an abstract concept. "Dont you ever wonder what happens after the cinema ends? What happens after the happy ending, I mean how can they live happily ever after? Its life- it has to have problems and for the sad part, what happens when the hero dies , does the heroine remains melancholic for ever? Things always get better with time, so will she."
Truly, I could never come to terms with her as far as relationships were concerned. She was too practical and me, too immature. Yet I never expressed my disbelief in her theories because I loved her. Its not that I never thought about that what happens after this "happily ever after", but in life there is no deadline like cinema. Its a huge story with many insignificant chapters, few important ones and few we cannot reason, explain or question.
I once asked her the definition of love and she kept staring at me so blank that it felt weird.
Her: What kind of a question is that?
Me: I mean what is love? Can you tell me?
Her: Its an emotion- just a different one which every people cannot have.
And in that regard we were lucky enough that we had found each other. It did not take much time for me to understand the real meaning - its a beautiful illusion we like to create in our mind and at times this can prove to be fatal- like some terminal disease it will sweep through our blood, sting every corner of our flesh and make us feel the venom but wont let us die. As far as our life was going, it was perfect- but just like every cloud has silver lining, every love story has a darker spot - which often the author ignores. He fears that people wont like the truth , because reality hurts. Love is not as beautiful as it appears to be, at times its beauty, at times its the beast.
