You have to understand that the world is chaotic and that life is unfair. People can screw you over and won't feel guilty for that. People may betray you, cheat on you or lie to you... They may even take you for granted and repeat the process over and over.
But you see, there are still people who are like rays of sunshine. People who are selfless enough to give their all without asking for something in return. People who would guide you even if You hurt them multiple times. People who give you chances even if you're not worthy anymore. People who see the goodness in you even if you're the demon who lashes their heart and soul repeatedly with so much pain and hurt. You have to understand that these people are with you.
If only you open your eyes, you would probably see. If only you look in the silence of your heart, perhaps, you may understand. But hopefully you would realize that these people are your people, Very soon enough. Not too long when you get to realize you were busy collecting shiny pebbles, but have lost one precious gem in exchange.
