(Spoken Poetry)
Allow yourself to bloom
From a plain bud to a beautiful flower
Surrounding yourself with floral fragrance
And let them taste your nectar of hard work
Which is the sweetest.
In just a minute of silence
I can tell you those untold inclination
Within a long period of time
There was a lack of process to be considered with.
It was to study and practice my own succession
Creating an endless point but always used a comma,
Comma to continue what it must be or what I must do
My must to convert my nameless traits into my asset
By collecting new knowledge and learning new things
By taking a step forward and embracing your flaws
By chasing something you really want to have
You can achieve great success in life.
I've been told that every person has a talent
Whether it was inborn or acquired through learning
Might be hidden into the deepest part of your body
Waiting to be discovered, wanting to be touched.
This lady in front of you was a late bloomer
A daisy that has been ignored for years suddenly watered by motivation
Considering that I disliked sports and focused too much on getting good grades
I call myself back then, worthless, good-for-nothing, and talentless.
But as a daisy given a chance to taste a drop of water
After being dry for such a long time
I took the opportunity and started to bloom
Making them want to also water this daisy.
I acquired a talent through studying
And I became a hobby artist through practicing
I studied and practiced for my own succession
Converting my nameless traits into my asset.
It was only last year when I started drawing
But look where motivation has brought me
Within a year, I saw my progress and improvement
And I continue to bloom every single day.
Everyone got their own clock and has a different timeline
Different dreams, different past, different stories
Timing is everything but everyone has a different timing
If you haven't succeed yet, wait for your time.
Maybe you're still an ugly duckling today
But you'll never know, perhaps you'll become a beautiful swan tomorrow
So keep on growing, keep on improving
Reality check: There's no room of improvement for lazy people
You can only bloom if you allow yourself to
Just keep on learning, keep on practicing
Cause Failure only exists when one quits
And Success only comes when one tries.
Challenge yourself and set your goal
Challenge yourself and give your all
Set your course now in this broad ocean
Perhaps if you start travelling now
You'll be brought to your destination in time, right?
If you want something, you need to chase it
Because the only person who can determine your success in life is YOU
