Amygdala's Box

In the darkest night and the most gloomy day
She’ll be there, present, in a perfect array
Like a loud bang of drum roll she’ll taunt your head
It’ll make you cry and think you have been misled

There will be times you wish to follow her pace
But darling, believe me it’s not worth the chase
She’ll do everything to win you in all ways
But not everything is falling for the grays

Eventually you will fall for all her traps
She will make you embrace shadows caged in clasps
You will love her like a profound reverie
She’ll taste as sweet as a childhood memory

You’ll be deceived and drown into deep sadness
Caged in a massive box with murky vastness
