On a dark night, she lost her way in a forest and she was running, "Help! Help!"... No one could hear her. With fear in her eyes, she is seeing whether is there any way to get out of the forest. Suddenly, a sound came near the bushes. She was scared. Step by step she is walking slowly. And she saw a light beam falling on the leaves of a tree far away from her. She thought there must be a livelihood over there. She took her breath in. And then went over there with each step with fear. And the huge voice of a fox came loud. She was afraid. She started feeling thirsty. She looked here and there. No water, she couldn't walk more. But tried her best to walk and reach the tree. She finally reached over there, and she started feeling more thirsty. She found a log on tree with flames over it. She understood that some forest people are staying over there. One old woman came and asked "Who are you? And what do you want?". She said her, " I have lost my way as I am new to my city. Can you please help me?". The old woman nodded her head and said "Ok". But on one condition. "Till tomorrow morning stay in my home. And don't come out. Don't forget, no matter what you shouldn't come out of the house. As there is no safety here." She agreed. And as soon as she went into the house, a dog came and started barking. The old woman made it cool down. And she understood that she is very thirsty and offered her some water from the pot in the hall. She took the glass full of water. And started drinking. It's dinner time. She cooked some food. And asked her if she wants to have some dinner. She nodded. And as soon as she looked at the curries she said "No, I don't eat these non-veg curries. I am a vegetarian." What is a vegetarian?", The old woman asked. "I don't eat meat.", She said. "Then what do you eat?", The old woman asked. "Anything with vegetables", She said.
Old woman : "But, I have only carrots."
Girl : "No problem, today I will make a delicious curry with carrots."
Old woman : *wondering*
Girl : *Makes an awesome carrot curry. And garnishes it beautifully with some coriander leaves. And serves it."
Girl : "Here it is. Have it. Mix and eat with some rice and it will be tasty. Let's eat."
Old woman : *With astonishing look surprisingly puts curry and rice in her plate.* *Eats* "It is too nice, and I am eating this curry for the first time."
Girl : "I said."
Old woman : *smiles*
Girl : "I'll teach you the recipe."
Old woman : "Ok"
Girl : *Tells the recipe"
Girl : *Gets tired and sleeps on the sofa.*
Old woman : *Checks whether doors are locked properly*
( And as the dawn comes, the girl wakes up and drinks some water. She looks around. And the old woman makes her some juice and gives it to her. )
Girl : "I have to go now."
Old woman : "Where?"
Girl : "To my home."
Old woman : "Okay."
Girl : "Can you show me the way now?."
Old woman : "Yes, sure."
Girl : "Thank you very much."
Old woman : *shows her the way and warns about threats on the way.*
Girl : "Thank you so much."
Old woman : "Okay bye."
Girl : *cries* "What can I do for you? You helped me a lot. I think this money would be useful for you. And gives her 1000 rupees note from her purse. I just have this for now. But I am so thankful to you. These 1000 rupees are not enough to give you. But at least something in return i must give you, so take this."
Old woman : *refuses to take the money."
(And the girl finally thanks her for giving her shelter in her need.)
Girl : "See you, Bye"
Old woman : "Bye".
And she (the girl) reaches her home safely and says everything happened to her parents. They were happy to hear that.
