Anything to Make You Happy

As I laid my eyes on you for a little while,
My lips curved creating a bitter smile,
False happiness flows in me like the river of Nile,
Splattering everywhere unable to compile.

"Oh darling, Anything to make you happy"
Anything,  yet all my actions ended up so badly,
For your happiness occur and being applied without me,
It's a burden in my heart making me feel uneasy,
That the only thing I could do to make you happy,
Is to let go of "us" and to set you free.

Although it'satisfying, it feels so bad,
Although it hurts,  I'm very glad,
For the sake of your happiness,
I'm being sad.

It was your happiness that I wanted from the start,
Darling,  just a smile from afar to heal my broken heart,
Your laugh so majestic like a masterpiece of Mozart,
Just a presence of your happiness, my love,  so it doesn't feel like we're apart.
