A new began started for me. I stepped in to B-school and it is been completely a residential program as most of the college are been. The first step of the first day was an accommodation of hostel and other usual normal procedure. The surroundings attracts me and was green everywhere I enjoyed it. Many other student was also been were there for the accommodation as just as like me. During that I got introduced to two of them as named shyam and bharath.
When Me , shyam and bharath were in a queue to get the room key from warden. He gave the keys and asked a working-boy to show us the room and told take three of them to third floor. We were happy as all of them are in the same floor but We were lucky we just got the rooms next to each other. Shyam got the middle one and me and bharath on the either side of the shyam’s room. Shyam used to sit with a lot in computer and being to do play with any computer Apps. Bharat was a guy who likes to talk much and being social.
We became so close after some days. On one evening me and bharat went to the rest room for a evening bath . Once I finish the bath and open the door I could see bharat was occupying a mirror and trying different hairstyle. So I went near and catch a basin to wash my face again had a chat. Other friends started to line up to wash the face as there was only two basins to use. I stoped him with the next hairstyle and brought out and moving towards our room at that time we move to shyam room and suddenly shyam turn his face towards us “Look what I found?, a app that able to predict the presence of a ghost”. Somehow that app made us to show our interest towards it. We decided to check that app but not at the same place in the room. We carved the time and place.
After our dinner we planned to escape from the hostel and make a move to near by field. Shyam started his preparation of installation of apps in his mobile and make sure the mobile has full chargeof 3 bars in the battery indicator. We left at 11 30 pm from hostel. When we came outside the place was been filled with the dim lights of street light. And no one in the hostel was either awake or don’t know where we are.
We started to go by bicycle to the field. When the deep we started going towards the field. It was completely dark. Even the street lights couldn’t penetrate inside because of presence of tall trees in the field. And now its difficult to move in the dark. For the purpose to drive the bicycles we started to use the mobile flash lights. It was a rough road to drive.
Once we were reaching towards the centre of the field. We heard the dogs which was far from the field was started shouting so loud and continuous. Me and bharath started staring each other and shyam took his mobile and opened the app. bharath asked him how this mobile app will able or useful in detecting the ghost. I said where v stand indicates with a center point mark as x, red dot for ghost and it has circles. It has 5 circles which mean each circle covers 100m.
We started to move with the mobile flash lights and shyam didn’t move his eyes from his app . After a point the bharath cycle chain got stuck and cycle was not In a position to move so me and shyam was trying to repair it. I was showing the mobile flash light and he was with the chains. Shyam gave his mobile to bharat and started to repair the chain. Bharath was just checking the app then suddenly a red dot appears in fact 2 red dot appears at the circle in between fourth and fifth. Which was near us exactly meant it should be from 400 m to 500m with us. Bharat shouted of returning to hostel with the full scary face.
It was so close near to us so we planned to cycle once we fit the chain. But bharat started running in dark. Bharat shouted “please leave me”. While he is running he took the one of the mob flash light with him. So we don’t have any chance to stay there . so we started moving behind. We entered the hostel gate. Shyam “where is bharat? we were back on him but we cant catch him”.
Once Bharat went near to the hostel the whole hostel electricity gone and the mobile battery has only one red bar. Bharat ran to his room in the dark. He checked his key wit the door lock. “come on open”, unfortunately it didn’t open. Then he soon went to restroom where the mirror was missing and wash basin were broken. So he thought of calling other friends but unfortunately no one responded to his knock and his mobile flashlight was off. After several tries with the keys to the door he got fainted.
We too reached hostel and we couldn’t find bharath so we were searching him and complete search we saw him fainted in before a door we brought to our room and next day only he open the morning and asusual when he open his eyes the same dialogue ”where am I?”.
He has been fainted in the 2nd floor where actually his room was in 3rd floor. In fear he thought it as an 3rd floor and tried to open the door on 2nd floor which is parallel down to his actual room. As it was one of the rooms in the hostel that is been still didn’t occupied. Then shyam explain “sorry my friend! For this situation of yours”.
“why?”
Shyam continuin to explain “yes friend there was no app such that of finding ghost its just a app where I made to show it as red after setting up a time on that . so on that time we played a prank on u . such that ur holding the phone. And many more happy fools day”
Atlast bharat annoyingly saw the date it was april 1.
