They say,
you are in the air that we breathe,
In the wind caressing the face,
And in everything that i can see or feel.
They say,
You are the star in the dark,
the candle in my path,
And everything that i can't see or feel.
They say,
you are the god of small things and big,
You see and hear every prayer,
You have love in every layer,
That You carry every burden that we bear.
They call you by many names,
They see you in many shapes,
Your face is even customized to suit every race.
They built you gigantic homes, in every country, in every state, even in the remotest of place.
They bought your portraits, gold plated statues, sang songs with verse that emphasizes your value,
You are not even human, yet you are the hero in our stories.
But are you there in the air that we breathe?
Are you there in the darkness covering us?
Are you listening to our prayers, confession and complaints?
Are you there in everything that we can't see or feel?
Are you here, beside me? God.
