Why can't love stay?
the people who said forever, rarely see or call,
Family meets at weddings or funerals afterall.
We are upto date with instagram feeds of the people we love, but have no clue how they actually feel.
We confess our love through chat boxes, the letters have become fossils from ancient times.
More over, the love i used to admire is manmade and not fate.
These facts have broken my heart and made the love i know out of date.
But a part of me hopelessly believes there's some invisible string connecting two hearts forever, even if they don't meet.
But why do love have to fade?
People change, but can't they change together?
Love fade, but didn't they vow forever?
New love arrives, but didn't they promise there will be no other?
Friends get married, but didn't we say we will stay friends forever?
Family is scattered across the globe, but can't they atleast call one another?
We are growing more distant than ever,
Cant we grab onto love again?
Can't we be the old us again?
