I think its pretty obvious that people only see what they want to see in you. They are interested in your life situations and problems rather than you. Thus people spend most of their life developing a good personality rather than to find someone who would love them for them. I know its hard it to find someone so or even impossible. But there is going to be a point where you have given out everything you have and yet people wont be satisfied because they keep asking for more. What will you do then? Do you think all this faking and being what people like you for is going to earn you inseperable friends? I think its not called developing yourself its called making a fool out of you, its wasting your time while pleasing others and getting nothing out of it. Rather than being someone else, be yourself! You wont be the famous one nor the one admirable one but definitely the true one, the 'you' one. And i think that will be the most attractive thing about you.
