Musings of a disillusioned mind.

Info

It is surprising how life works. Sometimes, life paves a way for you to walk to the heights of glory and sometimes it just pushes you into the deepest, darkest pits of hell with nothing but a rope of hope so weak that it might snap any moment. It then yells at you from inside to hang on to that tiny rope and climb out. how ironic it is, isn't it? you climb and climb but don't see light anytime soon and just when it is about to snap, a hand comes out of nowhere and pulls you out. You look up to see who it was and what you see leaves you gasping in astonishment.

The hand belongs to nobody but you. You see yourself standing tall and smiling. And the next moment, you find yourself alone, rubbing your eyes and pinching yourself to check whether you are dreaming. All this makes no sense to you and being tired just adds to it. You close your eyes and fall into a deep sleep without realizing, though this time the darkness seems warm and soothing. How long you had been deprived of it. As you sleep, the tiredness wears down from your face and the glow of life begins to return to it. The very life which pushed you down the pits and made you climb it as if you were a pawn for its entertainment. As it returns, it speaks to you in a loud voice. It's actually more of a whisper but to you it sounds loud and refreshing. It speaks of things which you don't understand and you struggle to find the meaning of those words. It speaks about reading between the lines which makes no sense at all. It speaks of a secret; a secret known to all but hidden from the reach of ignorant mortal minds.

"Deep within you lurks a beast waiting to resurface and take over you like it once did when you were an infant. As an infant you were weak and completely under its control but you regained yourself as you grew up and sealed the beast inside. Tap into yourself and give into that beast, release it, worship it, sit back and let it go wild. Do not doubt ever for doubt shall destroy you."
