We are all bound by insecurities. These form huge walls around us. Society builds some of these walls and in most of the times we build them.We choose to encumber ourselves in that space and think of it as the safest place in the entire universe. When the time has ripened, we realise how wrong we were! Only if we had peeped out through the crack in the wall we could have achieved what we wanted. Oh yes! there are always cracks in the wall waiting for us to notice them. We some times choose to ignore and at other times fill in the cracks with fear.
If anybody tries to break down their so called protective shield, people try to break their nerve- the act what they call as safeguarding! Why is it so?
"You are in a room with the paintings and photographs of the places, but not really present in those places. You may be well knowledged, but you are not well experienced. And why cut the wings of those who try to fly beyond the barriers and seek the warmth in the experiences, in the challenges, in the failures and success?"
And then there are people who relieve themselves from those clutches.
"What if the wings are cut! we can crawl or wewill climb- no matter what, we will comeout. Their biggest fear is that they maynot fall down." Only when we fall, we learn to get up.
How long can the caterpillar stay in a cocoon. One day a butterfly takes birth breaking the walls of the cocoon. And then there is no hurdle to freedom.
The only difference in humans is that we have the capabailty to design our lives as we want- be a caterpillar in the cocoon or a butterfly with wings. Choice is ours!
