Children unknown

Every day I hear sad news, of death, of rape, of war, of hunger.

I feel sad, sometimes anger and often hatred and I can only assume their pain.

I hear the stories of children molested, I hear the stories where families are molesters.

I hear the cries of those unknown children, with stolen future.

I hear them in the sleep, I hear them while awake.

I hear them pleading to stop the piercing sword of fate.

What good can the justice bring, if the verdict is just a few years?

What good can we do? the child is traumatized for life.

I have no means to help, neither do you, Only if we had a time machine to stop the devil from his deeds.

A child is a child, poor or rich, black or white

A child is a child, known or unknown.

I wish for a day when it all stops.

When at least the perverted hands don't taint those innocent souls.

I wish for a day when all children sleep safe and sound.

I wish and all I can is wish.
