Closure

I have with hollow eyes,
Shattered hopes & unanswered prayers

Yearned for a day to come
Where I shall have the rhythm of my life returned

Endless unfinished thoughts and stories
with a different setting

You have taken the cadence of my heartbeat
Pushed into a space where nothing reaches me

All the birds have flown away
All the ships have set their sail

The sand in the hourglass has slipped
The comets have also crossed our world

But I still, with numbness heaving on me
Haven't found my pearl in the sea

The gift of closure is the greatest indeed,
When I'll finally wake up with incandence in me.
