Dard-e-Discourse is the tag line of our farewell invitation card. With this invitation four beautiful years of my college life is over. I wish I could relive all those years once again.
It was 13th July 2014 when I first went to my college. Initially I don't wanted to take admission in this college as at that time I used to like a girl name Sikha who took admission in NIT Calicut and thanks to my 7256 rank in JEE advance I was able to get Electrical Engineering there but my father didn't allowed me to take admission there. But only GOD knows how I was able to get 7th rank in West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) and because of this I was able to get admission in Jadhavpur University, Kolkata. As it was near my house in Jharkhand my father happily admitted me here in Jadhavpur.
Well if you Google Jadhavpur University you will able to find it is the seventh best Engineering college in India much better than many IITs and NITs. You will get mesmerized and you will also want to take admission here. It is all true besides all these it is the most active political university of West Bengal. Well if you are liberals, communism supporter, and feminist you will certainly love this college very much. And what to say about feminist of these college to support feminism every year during Valentine week girls of feminism group celebrates "feel the freedom, throw away the bra" during one week all those girls will not wear BRA in the college premises. And the adarsh liberal groups and LAL Salam communist supporter supports them in the name of freedom of expression. And yeah I forgot about "Kiss of Love" where all of the above groups openely kisses each other to express love. Well leave this today I am not going to write about what I hate about this college but rather I wants to write about what I like about this college.
In my first and second year I was hardly able to mix up with my classmates. As I was busy in love with one girl. We use to talk about 12-13 hours in a day. But the best part of my college life begins when she left me during the starting third year. It was a blessing in a disguise for me. As she left I tried to get social with my classmates, joined Shooting Club, historical Rotatory Club of Kolkata(best thing I ever done) and NCC❤. Before I got socially mixed my classmates used to call me gym wala boy. I was famous in my college for my biceps 😉. And my nick name in college whatsapp group was Cheete 🐆🐆🐆. And thanks to Tia From Launchora because of whom now everybody calls me Tuti hui Ruh(Broken Soul) 😂😂.
So today I am gonna say thanks to all special people who made my college life memorable. Without them I don't think my college would be so interesting especially after second year when I was all heart broken and was hardly social. But they accepted me and made my college life worthy of remembering. Here I begins
• Shweta urf Babita ji :- Well yes whole college calls me Jethalal and Shweta Babita ji because she is the only girl with whom I can openly flirts 😂😉. Thanks for doing friendship with me and giving me permission to openly flirts. And yeah I am all excited to show you my special nagin dance moves on your marriage. Eagerly waiting for 17th December and yeah you broke my heart DhokebaaZ 😉.
•Sumant urf Chotu:- Chotu the best person I came across in my college. Because of him only I was able to crack CAT and improve my grades. Only GOD knows how he is able to good grades without opening books. And peoples say he is my right hand because of our unique bonding. Thank you bhai for being with always and luckily we got Job in same city and if selected chances are high we both will get same college for MBA. Because of him today I am Mahamantri.
• Gargi Ghosal :- Despite losing her mom and dad at the age of two. She is the most strongest person I ever met. Working with you in the Kolkata Rotatory club are the best memory of my life. Despite being Adarsh liberal, communist supporter and feminist I still like her. Only communist supporter friend I have. Yeah after becoming State Secretary we all are very sure you will be in Parliament very soon. Face of AISA in Bengal. Still I hate your ideology and we will still have our personal debates on this 😂.
• Tapan Da:- Though I have hundred reasons to hate you but still I will choose only one reason to love you that is our friendship. Bewda of our group he always have stocks of beer, weeds, Cigarettes and Wine. Call him at 2 am for drink he will always be ready. And the most juggadu member of our group because of his earning tips only I was able to buy IPhone X. Thank you bhai for your earning tricks. And yeah please stop smoking, drinking, and taking weeds. I am pretty sure you will get very good JOB soon.
• Rhea:- Beautiful girl with beautiful heart. Most famous girl of our college. All the best for your modelling consignment and don't forget to give me your autograph after becoming film actress. And sorry I couldn't teach you to drive CAR😖
• Bibha:- Since 2000 we are studying together. We did our 10th,12th,Graduation together in the same school and even in same class and branch. And now we will be working in same DLF company 😂😂 . Janm Janm ka sath hai humara tumhara😉😉. We have seen each other from our childhood and I am excited to work with you as adults 😂
• Naman urf Bipul :- He changed his social media name from Bipul to Naman because he don't wants girl to take stress while taking his name 😀😁😂. We are childhood friends and it was totally fun to live with you in our flats and do all those things which we dreamt of doing when we were child. Bhai jab v man kare Faridabad aajana will miss you and our stupid talks
• Tanya :- Well if I starts writing about you it will become very long. And you know I don't have to say what you means to me. Just one thing I wants to say is Lady Don get well soon and please come to India before 24June before I leave Kolkata for forever.
And besides friends I also wants thanks to my two special teacher. Mr Pritam Aitch Sir thanks for your support and encouragement today I am very successful. Thank you and I would be ever grateful to you for recommending my names to DLF and helping me in getting dream job. And Nabajyoti
Chaudhuri Mam you're my best teacher. I always respects you as my mother. Special thanks to you for making me student activist and suggesting me to join ABVP. Though ABVP is weak in our college but in your guidance I am pretty sure we will soon become stronger. And yeah thanks for giving me opportunity to work in Manipur and Tripura election. Our Jadhavpur ABVP team worked very well in coordination with IIT Guwahati team to make our slogan "Chalo Paltai" true in Tripura. Thank you for having trust in me and nominating my name as Mahamantri.
Also before leaving Kolkata I want to say thanks to my Gulmohar Society member for accepting me and inviting me in all your festival and feast. I am gonna miss you all specially Sangeeta Aunty (Tanya's Mom) for inviting all our gang for dinners every now and then. Inspite of Tanya not leaving there. Gulmohar Society ❤❤❤
And now when I am leaving Kolkata I have fulfilled all my dreams from building biceps to six packs abs to learn shooting to participate in student politics to earning 6 digits monthly salary to lover to broken soul. Kolkata City of Joy you taught me everything and have made my emotionally and physically very strong. I came here as adolescent and when I am leaving I have grown into mature adults. Thank you Kolkata for giving me some of the best memory of my life and some of the sour taste of life. Thank you City of Joy for everything ❤
