The day

Like many of you, i am just another drop in the ocean, desperately waiting for a day to come when my tears start drying up. I sat alone in my room and started writing in a webpage to a set of anonymous readers. I go back to the day when my life took a turn for worse. It was my first day in college, happiness and smiles all around. I was unique ( weird ). I began to enjoy the day despite being several thousand miles away from my family. Back there, my brother was bleeding on the middle of the road with his skull broken open. Nobody lifted him to see if he was alive, his gold chain was taken off ( gold was worth more than the life ). His friend who drove the bike relatively unharmed in a desperate attempt to protect himself flee. Few hours later, my parents who were travelling back after they left me safe in my college hostel, shocked, broken as i saw their first son, rushed into ICU in the pool of  blood. Three months after the horrific accident, he opened his eyes still not conscious of who he was. But he was alive, that's all she prayed for , our beloved mother. And the guy who grew up with was fighting for his life, my parents its best that i didn't know. And they never thought about what it could do to me when i get to know eventually. And i did.
