Dear Smile

Dear Smile,

Times have come when the surroundings seemed to be a dull and dark, a place from where I wanted to run away from by every passing second, tears rolled down my cheek and all I needed was to be free. Freedom from the social evils, from restrictions, from failures, from a broken heart and a racing mind. I was damaged and ready to end my very existence. And in one of those days, I looked up for the last time, or so I thought.

You were there, looking back at me. You knew I was broken, you were scared to come out that day. But you came to see me, from the other side of the mirror for the last time, or so I thought.

Smile, I will tell you today what I realized that day when I saw you that depressing day...

It struck me then that I had been a fool to fear the world, I realized at that very moment that I am a part of it and if I ended myself that moment the world would not have lost anything but I would have lost a chance forever. A chance to make a difference or just to be different. 

I realized that with friend like you I have the ability to conquer many hearts, the power to show the opposition that wars can be resolved with just a friend on your side. 

Yes, I realized you will not be able to a broken heart, for that I had to depend on time. But there was faith in you that you would stand by when I meet the world and try to greet them again. There was faith that I could run and hide by bruises behind you when asked " Are you okay?"

You, my friend, was the confidence that reflected on my face then, and you will always rightfully remain so forever. For I want you to know that I have realized that if you are not there I would have lived a lie here.

I am fortunate to have you and now the plan is to help others find their friendship similar to ours. For I now know, Mr. Problem will keep knocking on our door, Heart will not recover fully and even before it recovers will hurt itself again, Mind will try and race against Time and Time, well lets just say he knows his way; but you dearest Smile will withstand all with me. Well, I am not giving you a choice, what are friends for!
