Deferred wishes
Another birthday .. Another year passing taking her from her hand to the grave .. Did she accomplish everything she wanted ..? Sure not .. Did she even get close to any of them ..? I`m afraid the answer is still no .. She took another sip from her Nescafe while going through the mail ..
Bills .. Sale offers from some clothes brands .. And finally, a card inviting her to visit a close gift shop .. The address shows that it is close to her house .. Too close actually .. How comes she never saw it ..? The shop`s name was : "Deferred wishes gift shop " .. The weird name caught her attention and made her continue reading the card ignoring the rest of her mail .. She set her mug aside while reading the weird card ..
" Our gift shop is unique .. U will find there everything u wished for but had to give it up for some reason or another .. Because u didn't own enough money then, because u were so busy studying or working or anything else .. No matter what the alibi that made u ignore your wish before was, u will certainly find your .. Try visiting us even once and we guarantee u won`t regret it .. "
The weird words drove a chill through her back, But the last sentence was right .. What will she lose if she went ..? She is a grown up girl now and is capable of defending herself if anything goes wrong .. And in worst cases, She will be hiding a large kitchen-knife and a pepper spray in her purse if the shop turns up to be just a covering for a mad killer, Although she is sure that the case is weirder and less traditional than that .. The shop`s name is weird in a magical way that made her rise from her place, take her purse and the invitation card, deciding to go instantly .. It's her birthday anyway .. What other day is more convenient to gift herself by a deferred wish ..?
