I wasn’t born very bright
Couldn’t tell the difference between wrong and right
Yet I craved for knowledge , very curious
Lack of answers made me furious
Slowly I grew into an intelligent man
Screaming, Eureka! Eureka! I ran
All the answers I longed for , I found
Earth was neither straight, nor round
Travelling around the world to discover new lands
Built an empire with my two own hands
Life was joyous, with no sorrow
Worked together, for a better tomorrow
A jealous, greedy and lusty devil burned my empire
I chased the man who set it on fire
Realizing his identity, put me on my knee
The devil the smirk on his face was ME
