A Demon?

Info

“I don’t wish to speak to a bloody Demon like you! Go to hell!” she screamed, answering his 25th phone call
“Listen Angel!” he almost cried, “listen to me once!”
“damn!” he sighed, throwing his phone. His Angel, the love of his life had hunged up on him.
“Is she still angry? ” asked the little girl sitting beside him
“yeah..” he nodded. How he had wished to express his grief to anyone and yet just managed only a monologue.
Seeing her big friend so gloomy, she too became silent and sat with her head down.
“what happened, piglet?” he asked, nudging her to look at him
“why do you call her ‘Angel’?” she asked, with her big eyes staring him directly in the eyes.
“because I love her?” he replied, smiling at her innocence.
“umm? ” she made a face, not understanding what he meant
“we all have someone special, right? ” he said, understanding her confusion, putting his arm around her shoulder.
And she nodded happily, understanding what ‘special’ meant..
“so, we should call them with special names too? ” he asked and she nodded again, smiling widely now.
And suddenly, she slumped on her desk again, thinking something deeply.
He waited for a few moments before interrupting her thoughts, “what are you thinking, piglet?”
“The name of my special one!” she replied, with a twinkle in her eyes
“so what are you going to call him?” he asked
“Mr.Demon!” she replied excitedly
“Demon? ” he asked, astonished by her reply
“Yeah, Demon!” she said looking into his eyes, “Remember you told me it’s difficult to find a good demon?” she asked, reminding him of some story that he had earlier told her.
He nodded, “but why demon?”
“because everyone has an Angel, but only special ones get to love a demon!” she explained, while he tried hard to hold back his tears at the word ‘demon’.
And before their conversation could go further, his cell rang. It was a reminder for him to leave for his flight.
“you gotta go now? ” she asked
“see you next summer, piglet!” he said kissing her forehead, then grabbing his coat, tieing his shoe laces, ready to leave!
“dont get upset again!” he told her, while running towards his car, knowing how much she used to miss him.
And giving her brightest smile, she said “take care Mr.Demon!” and rushed inside.
He froze in his feet realizing what his stupid piglet had just said, and fell on his knees, with a thud.
“Mr.Demon I am!” he said, smiling, with tears shinning in his eyes.
